I was reading an article this morning about some controversy in Germany over a politician who is thought to have plagiarized most of his doctoral thesis, and I ran across the word 'prevaricate'. This is one of those words that I don't remember learning in school, but that I can usually figure out the meaning through the context. In today's case I couldn't easily figure out the meaning, so like I often do when I run across an interesting word that I feel like I should know the meaning of, I looked it up.  This was the perfect word for the title for today's post.
